Each unit is assessed with a minimum of two grades for oral or written examinations, reports, projects?The scale for grades is 0 to 20 and a minimum of 10 is required to validate the unit.

Targeted competences

An engineer in mathematical engineering is able to model real situations and assist users for mathematical models and methods. Trainings includes solid culture in applied mathematics: numerical analysis, statistic and probabilities, mastery of computer tools, good basic training in ingineering sciences, sound knowledge of business and management technics. The course combines a grounding in the field of life sciences and in engineering sciences ( process engineering, iques,?).
A large part of the course focuses on the acquisition of cross-disciplinary competences (languages, economics, project management, communication,?).
The mathematical engineer will work in sectors ranging from Aeronautic, Financial and Insurance sector and will be equally competent in production or R&D.


The five-year engineering programme is organized in semesters as follows:
- a common core programme in the first year
- 2 years of pre-specialization (4 pre-specializations)
- 2 years of specialization (10 specializations)
25% of the course is devoted to human sciences (economics-management, languages, communication, sports)
Compulsory internships for a total of 36 weeks
Compulsory period of 12 weeks abroad
Compulsory minimum level in English required (TOEIC 750), 2nd language
Courses with capitalizable credits
Requirements to enter next year of study : 60 ECTS validated, distributed in 20 units
